A leading custom home builder in the Central Oregon area is looking to hire a Regional Purchasing Manager for their growing team.

As a Regional Purchasing Manager, you will be focused on building and maintaining strong vendor relationships as well as all of the purchasing responsibilities for the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene territories.
Regional Purchasing Manager Essential Functions include:
- Establish, develop, and maintain a strong trade base
- Negotiate and maintain lowest qualified base house and option costs
- Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates, bid packages, and detailed job budgets
- Develop and maintain a costing strategy with full benchmarking capabilities
- Conduct cost analysis and present opportunities for cost reduction
- Bid evaluation & negotiation between vendors
- Work directly with Construction and Drafting regarding plan changes, code compliance and value engineering
You will report to the VP of Supply Chain and work in a collaborative environment with contractors and support staff. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and able to manage your workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A construction purchasing background is a must.
Public Relations Marketing Manager Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent writing skills, for a variety of end uses.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, project and time management skills.
- 3+ years of Construction Purchasing.
- Specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including databases, spreadsheets,
- Strong Excel experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Salary: $90K – $105K DOE
