This Payroll Accountant position is full time and a Direct Hire position with a locally owned and operated glass company working with both residential and commercial clients. 

They are looking to add another member to their team! In this role, you would be responsible for processing payroll for a combination of union, non-union, prevailing wage, and salaried employees. When not processing payroll, you will also help the Accounting team with basic AP/AR responsibilities and research. 

Payroll Accountant Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for up to 80 employees
  
• Incorporate OT, deductions, garnishments, benefits, etc into payroll functions
• Prepare electronic paychecks and process taxes and payment of benefits
  
• Support Accounting team with basic accounting functions related to AP/AR and GL research

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Payroll experience with a relevant degree, or 5+ years without 
  
• Previous experience processing union, non-union, and prevailing wage payroll
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
  
• Experience using cloud based payroll software preferred
