An amazing Seattle non-profit research and health care organization is looking to add a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to their team!

This is an immediate opening and is anticipated to last through December 31st.  

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Accounting Manager to process high-volume invoices, ensure all accounts payable documents are received and properly coded, authorized, and entered for payment.  

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process high volume domestic and international invoices in a timely manner
• Manage accounts payable using accounting software system
• Audit check and ACH payments prior to release of payment
• Work with vendors to reconcile accounts and payment processes
• Work with end-users to resolve any payment issues

You'll be successful in this Accounts Payable Specialist role if you are highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have confidence communicating at all levels of an organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
• Hands on knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles
• Experience working with accounting software (PeopleSoft and Hyland OnBase a plus!)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite

Pay: $27/hr (+DOE)

• Every Friday is pay day!

Location: Downtown Seattle - South Lake Union area

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will alternate working from home 2-3 days per week, and on-site the remaining days
