A local steel fabrication company located in Mount Vernon is looking to add a Material and Planning Supervisor to their team. For more than 135 years, this company has been driving progress in milk production by innovating solutions for dairy producers around the globe. As a Material and Planning Supervisor, you are responsible for providing a complete and accurate production plan including securing materials required to have the customers order completed on time, while staying within budget. You will also be partnering with the production manger to ensure goals are met to company standards.
Material and Planning Supervisor duties:
· Manage Production Schedule
· Partner with Production Manager on capacity planning and production schedule
· Communicate status updates on all orders
· Building and Maintaining relationships with vendors.
Material and Planning Supervisor Requirements:
· 1 year of Manufacturing experience with MRP systems
· Strong Computer Skills (Sap Preferred)
· 1 year of Lean Manufacturing Experience
· Experience in supervising a team

Salary: $70,000+
