A local plastics manufacturing company is adding a Quality Control/Machine Operator to their team, no previous experience in Manufacturing is required! This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity.

You'll be working in a production environment where plastic sheeting is made for a wide variety of products, such as flexible vinyl used in office, medical and industrial products. Your role will be learning how to operate a plastic slitting machine, this machine cuts plastic sheets to a specific size to the customers requirements !

Training is provided, so you'll learn the whole process from beginning to end. There are opportunities for growth and benefits upon permanent hire.

Quality Control/Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Threads machine and starts Slitting Process
• Ensuring machines are running properly
• Quality checking throughout the process
• Lifting and assisting in packaging finished products
• Prepares finished product to be shipped

Quality Control/Machine Operator Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and crouch for up to 12 hours/day
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs.
• Strong Attention to detail
• Previous production experience is preferred  
• Quality Control experience is preferred

Pay: $19 - $21/ hour

Schedule: Several Shift options

• Day Shift: Monday – Thursday, Monday 1pm-7pm and Tuesday-Thursday 7am-7pm
