We are currently recruiting for a temp Digital Press Operator to join our team! The Digital Press Operator sets up and operates the HP Digital printing press to produce pressure-sensitive labels and related products. The primary purpose for the Press Support employee is to assist and support the Press Operators to reduce changeover time, minimize unplanned downtime, and keep presses running. This position serves as a training opportunity with the goal of progressing to a Press Operator role. It is expected that within one year of being in the Press Support position, the employee will be fully prepared to transition into the role of a Press Operator.
Digital Press Support responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality labels to meet the job specifications outlined on the label order to match customer standards
- Inputs data including time and materials used into job management software
- Reads job orders and loads jobs into the press, fills ink cans and pumps with prescribed inks
- 6 months plus of Press Operator experience
- High Attention to detail
- Experience with Color and Color Matching
Pay: $18.00 per hour
