This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Writer to join an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial equipment and custom automation solutions.
In business for decades, this established and fast-growing company has engineered equipment and automation solutions for clients in a variety of industries including Food Production, Medical and Pharmaceutical, Greeting Cards, Textiles and more.
Currently, they are seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of instructional documentation.
Technical Writer Responsibilities:
- Research, organize, write, edit and illustrate end-user technical manuals
- Gather and organize all needed documentation for newly manufactured equipment
- Create internal guide notes, technical papers and product overview/data sheets relating to product lines
Technical Writer Qualifications:
Required:
- 1+ years of technical writing experience
- Experience with the design and development of instructional documentation
Preferred:
- Experience with publishing software such as Adobe InDesign
- Experience with artwork/photo tools such as Adobe Illustrator and AdobePhotoshop or similar software
- Mechanical or technical background
Location: Everett
Pay: $29.00 + an hour
Signing Bonus
Schedule: Monday - Friday
