This company specializes in supplying structural airplane parts and components for the aerospace and defense industries. In this CNC Programmer role, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by creating, optimizing and maintaining the programs used to create accurate and high-quality parts and components for their customers.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:  

• Utilize CAD/CAM software to produce numerical code required to machine part  

• Analyze drawings, solid models and design engineering instructions to determine selection of cutting tools and machine cutting parameters 

• Create instruction sheets, job aids, cutter lists for setup and operation of machine  

• Write program instructions in numerical control (G Code)  

• Observe operation of machine on trail runs and troubleshoot issues alongside machinists 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm  

CNC Programmer Requirements: 

•  3+ years of CNC programming experience within a manufacturing environment   

• Working knowledge of CNC programming languages 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerancing  

• Experience working with 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines 

• Experience with NX Unigraphics highly desired 

Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 an hour
