This position is with a growing Aerospace and Electronics company globally known for being a true industry leader. They are working on exciting projects including parts and components for the James Web Telescope, the Mars Rover, the DART mission, and components for electric aircraft and aviation. This position works on their Hone, Lap & Grind team.

Precision Deburr Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate Sunnen hones to hone inside diameters on various precision parts in accordance with blueprint and manufacturing outline specifications.
• Lap inside diameters of various precision parts to achieve required size, straightness, roundness and finish.
• Set-up and operate Federal and Standard air gauges, Sunnen gauges and micrometers.
• De-burr slides and sleeves to proper specifications.
• Ensure calibrated equipment is returned to metrology lab prior to due date.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm

Precision Deburr Machine Operator Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in Hone Lap and Grind preferred
• Working knowledge of proper mandrels, stones, speeds, laps and abrasive compounds to achieve blueprint and operation requirements
• Ability to correct conditions such as taper, bell mouth, and “barrel” in through blind holes
• Highschool Diploma or GED?

Compensation: $18.49 - $28.56/hr (+$2/hr shift differential)
