Quality Champions Wanted: Apply for a Quality Manager Role. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a Mochi Ice Cream Company in West Phoenix. 

Purpose & Scope:
Reports directly to the VP of Operations & Quality and has a primary responsibility on all aspects of a food manufacturing in house lab and oversees quality and food safety aspects of our production of mochi. In this position you are responsible for six lab technicians that work over 3 shifts. The QA Lab Manager will lead and ensure training. 

Primary Job Functions:

• Ensure the QA lab technician department is properly staffed, trained and proficient.
• Ensure process improvement projects and tasks are complete. 
• Advocates new quality policies and procedures to FSQA team 
• Maintain label logs and product disposal records, assures quality, production and forms are completed and reviewed. 
• Orders and maintains lab material inventory.

Working Conditions:

• Food production setting
• Slippery floors, extreme temperatures, loud noises 
• High level of interaction with other departments and partners

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years working in QA Management 
• PCQ, HACCP certified, Food Defense Training 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm 
Pay: Up to 110K DOE
