The premier rail transfer and bulk truck delivery provider is seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Tacoma, WA, playing a crucial part in customer service and connection. This role is responsible for handling incoming calls and scheduling transportation as well as providing other details to customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to engage and support customers while maintaining a clear and effective communication to the office and supervisors. They will also be comfortable to work independently and professionally in an office environment.

Location: Tacoma, WA

Hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM; Monday - Friday

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Customer Service Representative Key Responsibilities:

• Manage calls in an organized and systematic manner while following company policies and guidelines
• Route calls appropriately
• Handle and document daily scheduling trips
• Demonstrate reliability and consistent time and attendance
• Report issues and concerns to supervisor
• Follow company guidelines and regulations
• Ensure customer satisfaction and meet company service standards
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Process work orders, scale tickets, and bills of lading

Customer Service Representative Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 experience in an office environment. (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year in customer service, sales and/or call center experience. (Required)
• Typing speed of 30 WPM or greater (Required)
• Experience working in a call center. (preferred)
• Proficient in identifying customer needs.
• Strong communication and able to escalate concerns to supervisor.
• Highly skilled written communication and phone skills
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
