Production Supervisor II Responsibilities:

• Identify and use lean manufacturing tools required to drive improvements and mentor teammates in the use of these tools and review and understand daily key performance indicators to evaluate the current status and gap to plan, and use this data to drive daily problem solving
• Assist Value Stream Managers with required monthly reporting to senior level management and provide inputs (resource planning, overtime projections, productivity improvements) to management to develop monthly and annual budgets
• Serve as liaison to other groups, product lines and/or functional areas to ensure products are built, assembled, and/or tested within appropriate parameters
• Review the daily allocation of resources in order to drive production schedule to meet established customer requirements and ensure timely identification of quality issues through the use of the non-conforming materials process to ensure scrap and rework are properly processed
• Make staffing decisions in accordance with human resource procedures to build and grow the team to meet the needs of the business and develop, coach, and mentor employees through the use of performance planning to drive employee and business growth

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 1st shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm

Production Supervisor II Requirements:

• 3+ years supervisory experience
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate skill level with MS Office software including Excel
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, the company bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Compensation:

• $98,000 - $125,000/yr.
• Eligible for annual company performance-based bonus
