A national leader in frozen, specialty seafood is looking to add a temporary Import Specialist to their team here in Seattle. This temporary role offers weekly pay and the opportunity to grow your experience with the import process. This is a full time, temporary position anticipated to last 3-4 months.

In this Import Specialist role, you will support overall logistics and imports.

As a Import Specialist you will be:

• Maintain Import Department status of all shipments
• Oversee entry process of Import Department
• Liaison with Customs Brokers as necessary regarding the status of shipments
• Manage import claims
• Read and understand company policies regard C-TPAT and requirements of foreign vendors  

Import Specialist Qualifications:

• 3+ years customs brokerage, freight forwarding and international transportation
• Familiarity with basic documents used in international transportation
• Experience with perishables
• Strong technical proficiency with experience utilizing ERP software
• Experience with in dealing with U.S. Customs

Location: Downtown Seattle

• Bus accessible 
• No parking available

Schedule: Monday-Friday,  7:00am-4:00pm

Pay: $35 - $40/hr
