Do you work in commercial HVAC and want to continue your career in technical sales with a leader in the HVAC industry? A leading manufacturer representative for commercial HVAC and industrial products in San Antonio is looking to bring on a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their growing team! 

This well-established company prides itself on selling top notch products and providing the best customer service in the HVAC industry. Over the years they have grown to represent over 30 manufacturers in the industry! In this Sales Engineer role, you will be responsible for the sale of their offerings to consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and end users on those products.  

This is a full-time direct hire role with competitive benefits, an uncapped commission structure, and opportunities for growth and development. Sales Engineer Responsibilities:  

  • Build and manage long term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts  

  • Sell product offerings to all members of the construction community, including contractors, consultants and end users while reaching optimal profit levels 

  • Manage multiple ongoing opportunities and maintain an accurate sales forecast  

  • Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts 

  • Share technical knowledge and business expertise with the customer to match the solution to the customers’ operational needs 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible office hours  

Sales Engineer Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of experience working in commercial HVAC industry in technical sales, design/drafting engineering, or mechanical engineering roles 

  • Prior Technical sales experience highly preferred 

  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, design, equipment, specs and plans  

  • Strong customer services skills and ability to build rapport across all levels of internal teams and customers  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a strong desire to “win”  

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field highly preferred  

Compensation: $65k - $85k base + uncapped commission
