In this Direct Hire Production Manager role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient production of solar panels, effectively managing staff and scheduling to ensure daily, monthly and yearly production metrics are met.

Production Manager Job Responsibilities:  

• Set, plan and meet all production targets and goals while reviewing and adjusting the production schedule as needed  

• Coach and guide all production team members with the goal of improving overall competency of the production staff  

• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems while implementing improvements to the production process  

• Set and manage production budgets, implementing cost control and cost saving programs  

• Monitor KPIs, looking at OEE and labor hours per watt/panel 

Schedule:  

• Monday-Friday, day shift  

Production Manager Job Requirements: 

• 7+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment (prior supervisory experience preferred)  

• Hands on knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards  

• Extensive experience managing and understanding KPIs 

• Experience with production planning, controls and instrumentation  

• Ability to lead a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel  

Pay:  

• $85,000-$110,000/yr
