Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with a background in the construction industry? Then this Accounts Receivable Manager role is the perfect opportunity for you!

Join my client as an Accounts Receivable Manager at their growing drywall company in Scottsdale! In this key role, you'll ensure the timely collection of payments, manage billing processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of their operations.

Accounts Receivable Manager Duties:

  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and payments are collected on time.
  • Manage and track outstanding accounts, maintaining accurate records of payments and account histories.
  • Communicate directly with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and manage aging reports to monitor overdue accounts and help maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to generate financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Lead and support the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and training.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards related to billing and financial documentation.
  • Assist in managing lien releases, billing adjustments, and other construction-related financial tasks.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Accounts Receivable Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with experience in the construction or drywall industry.
  • Knowledge of construction billing practices, including progress billing, retainage, and lien releases.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Leadership experience in managing a small team is a plus.
