Join as a Collections Specialist at an established drywall company in Scottsdale! In this key role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of overdue payments, resolving billing disputes, and contributing to the company’s overall financial health.

Collections Specialist Duties:

• Contact clients, project managers, and subcontractors to collect overdue payments and resolve any payment issues.
• Review aging reports and monitor overdue accounts, ensuring payments are collected in a timely manner.
• Address billing discrepancies related to progress billing, retainage, and lien releases within the construction industry.
• Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve payment disputes and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities, payments, and communications.
• Work closely with internal teams, including accounting and project management, to ensure accurate billing and smooth collections.
• Assist in generating aging reports and other collections-related documentation to monitor progress.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Pay: $25-$27/hr

Collections Specialist Requirements:

• Experience in collections within the construction or drywall industry.
• Familiarity with construction-specific billing practices, including progress billing, retainage, and lien releases.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain accurate, organized records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to resolve payment issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve company goals.
