Full-time, Temporary to Hire, Monday - Thursday, 7:00pm-5:30am - Three day weekends!
This is a great full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity to learn to become a skilled Machine Operator and join a dynamic production team dedicated to dominating the industrial and hydraulic hose industry!
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to break into an industry that has been growing continuously for the last 30 years. This company manufactures industrial hoses, and is known from promoting from within. You'll be provided with excellent training and cross-training. At this company, you could have a lifelong, stable career. They also run a 4-day work week, so you will get a long 3-day weekend with opportunity for overtime.
What you will be doing as a Machine Operator:
- Setting up different types of twine into the machines that braids them into hoses
- Entering settings onto the machine's display - learning how to run a program for production
- Daily maintenance of the machine using basic hand tools, similar to a shop-like environment
In this Machine Operator position you will need:
- Ability to stand, bend, and crouch for 10+ hours a day
- Production or manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 6 months
- Machine operating experience a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Schedule: Three Day Weekend!
- Graveyard: Monday-Thursday, 7:00pm-5:30am
Pay: $15/hr.
Location: North Portland near NE Columbia Blvd
