Manufacturing companies in the Denver-Metro area are looking to grow their Assembly teams.

Some roles are more entry-level in nature and others require more skilled mechanical assembly experience.

These roles offer full-time hours and have the potential to become long-term roles. If hired on as a full-time employee, several employers offer great benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Here are two examples of the types of assembly opportunities available:

Assembly – Packaging (More entry-level: need at least 6 months of experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.)

• Assembling plastic pedestals
• Counting and packaging finished products
• Some light quality control to ensure products meet specifications

Mechanical Assembly (More skilled: need at least 1 year of experience in a similar manufacturing role)

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Utilize hand-held tools, such as a screw and drill gun
• Perform regular QC check to ensure product meets quality standards
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

Here are some of the safety measures these companies have in place to help protect their employees against COVID-19:

• Temperature checks are done at start of shift
• Work spaces and common areas are sanitized throughout the day
• Controlled access – no outside visitors allowed on-site
• Social distancing is being practiced
• Masks and gloves are provided

Schedules vary, but are typically Monday-Friday. Flexibility for possible overtime needed.

Sample Schedules:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Monday - Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• Monday - Friday, 10:30pm to 7:00am

You will be successful in these roles if you are hardworking, reliable and have a desire to learn.

Pay: $15 - $16+ /hr depending on role and experience

Location: Denver-Metro area (Most locations are bus accessible)
