 Just like you helped customers find exactly what they were looking for when they stepped into your store, as a Recruiter you’ll help find the right fit between a job seeker and a company.

 You will use your customer service and relationship-building skills to make outbound sales calls, source and interview job applicants, and respond to customer demand.

 Relationships with job seekers and businesses don’t end when you make a placement. Successful recruiters stay in touch, mine relationships for additional opportunities and turn one-time placements into repeat business.

 Building your book of business will take hard work and dedication, but TERRA has systems and processes in place to support you while you learn. With patience, time and support from your close-knit team, you’ll be on the path to success in no time.

 Making the Transition to Recruiter

 As with any new job, taking that next step can be scary – you’re not sure what to expect. This role will require you to learn new systems and processes outside of the retail industry.

In retail, you’re on your feet most of the day, but as a recruiter, it will be quite different.

 While you find yourself going on sales meetings and to client sites to meet with employees and on-site supervisors, a majority of the time, you will be working behind a desk.

 You will also be working heavily with computers and technology. We don’t expect you to be a computer expert, but a willingness and desire to learn is a must.

 We offer unparalleled training and are happy to share our staffing knowledge with driven individuals unfamiliar with the staffing industry.  You will have support from peers, management and executive management along the way.
