• How and when will I be paid?
  • You will be paid an hourly wage and prior to the start of your assignment, you will be told how to record and report your time. Timecards are due in our office by 8:00 am every Monday. Payday is every Friday for time worked in the preceding week. You will receive your pay electronically either by direct deposit to your bank account or by a paycard.

• How does the cash card/paycard work?
  • Paycards operate similar to traditional PIN-based debit cards. TERRA issues paycards to our field employees and electronically deposits, or loads, wages into the paycard account every pay period.

• When will I be issued a paycard?
  • If you are not signed up for direct deposit, paycards will first be issued to you on your first payday. You can pick up your paycard from any TERRA branch. Keep this card in a safe place -- you will be paid every payday on this card.

• How quickly do I have access to my wages on paydays?
  • Wages are available every payday, at 12:01 am.

• Where can I access my money from?
  • You can access your wages via an ATM or by using the cash back feature. You can also use the card and chosen PIN to purchase goods and services.

• Are there any fees to use the paycard?
  • You have one free transaction per pay period -- either an ATM withdrawal or purchase, or purchase with cash back. After that first transaction, there are additional fees to use the paycard until the next pay period. See the end of this document for a list of fees.

• How do I keep my transaction fees low?
  • When making purchases, select "credit" at the PIN Pad...there is no fee.
  • Always ask for "Cash Back" at grocery stores when using your PIN. "Cash Back" is free of any fee.
  • When using your Debit Mastercard or Visa Prepaid Card sign for purchases...it's free.
  • Always know your balance so you avoid decline and over limit fees.
  • Check your balance online or on the telephone...it's free.

• How do I activate my cash card?
  • You can activate your paycard via the phone or internet. To activate via phone, follow these steps:
    1. Call 866-395-9200, press 3
    2. Enter Card Number
    3. Follow the instructions to verify your information
    4. Select a 4 digit Pin Number
    5. Your Global Cash Card is now activated to use. Once activated, you can call 866-395-9200 to check your account balance, hear your last deposit and speak to customer service.
  
  
  • To activate your paycard via the internet, follow these steps:
    1. Go online to www.globalcashcard.com
    2. Find the Activate My Card entry
    3. Enter your card number
    4. Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
    5. Create a Username and Password
    6. Your Global Cash Account is now activated to use. Once activated, and your Username/Password has been created, you can log on to check your account balance and review your transactions.

• Is my money secure?
  • Yes. Your money is protected by the use of a PIN and MasterCard and Visa's Zero Liability Policy. Additionally, all card balances are guaranteed by the F.D.I.C.

• What can I do if I have lost my paycard?
  • Notify your TERRA branch office immediately. TERRA will be able to provide you a replacement card. You will use the same pin # you setup for the previous issued card. Once you have the new card, you will need to call Global Cash Card directly to speak with a live representative to have your funds transferred to the new card.

• Can I pull all of my money off the card?
  • Yes, you can pull all of your money off the paycard using "G checks." G checks are issued to employees directly from Global Cash Card. You must call Global Cash Card directly to request a booklet of G checks.

• Can TERRA tell me what my balance is or review my transactions with me?
  • No. TERRA can only deposit your payroll funds and confirm the payroll deposit. We cannot see any activity within your account.

• What happens if my employment is terminated?
  • Should the employment relationship between TERRA and you end, you still have access to any funds on the card.
