  • When do I get paid?
    • TERRA processes and pays employees every Friday for the time worked the preceding week.
  • How do I get paid?
    • You will receive your pay electronically either by:
      • Direct Deposit to your bank account (Direct Deposit Forms need to be submitted to TERRA)
      • OR
      • PayCard. PayCards are an option for employees who do not have a bank account. A PayCard works like a debit card for ATM withdrawals and for point of sale purchases. A TERRA representative will provide you with enrollment information.
  • Can I get a paper check?
    • TERRA does not pay by paper checks; instead we offer Direct Deposit and PayCards.
  • When are timecards due and how do I turn them in?
    • Timecards are due Monday by 8am. Paper timecards can be turned into any TERRA office. Some clients also utilize online timecards; if this is an option, your TERRA representative will make sure to provide you with any information you need. Online timecards need to be submitted for approval by Monday mornings at 8am as well. Failure to punch in/out properly or turning in a late or incomplete timecard may result in a delay getting paid for that week.
  • How do I access my pay stubs?
    • An Earnings Statement detailing your gross pay, net pay and deductions is accessible to you each Friday that you are paid. You can access Earning Statements through the employee portal on the TERRA Staffing Group Website (www.TerraStaffingGroup.com). If you do not have access to a computer you may request a printed Earning Statement from any TERRA office.
  • How do I sign up for direct deposit?
    • To sign up for Direct Deposit, simply fill out a Direct Deposit Form authorizing permission to deposit your earnings into your bank account. You will also need to provide a voided check or print out from your bank with your Bank Account Number and Routing Number when you complete the form.
  • I have a question about my pay. Who should I contact?
  • I am signed up for direct deposit but just changed my bank account, what should I do?
    • Please contact a TERRA office immediately and submit a new Direct Deposit form. Changes must be made by Tuesday, end of business day, in order to be deposited into the new bank account on Friday.
  • How do I qualify for holiday pay?
    • TERRA offers 6 paid holidays a year for eligible employees: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
    • To qualify you must work 584 hours within the 15 weeks prior to the Holiday and be on an active assignment and work no less than 1 hour during the week of the holiday.
  • Do you provide medical and/or dental benefits?
    • TERRA provides medical benefits through an ACA compliant health insurance program, as well as dental benefits through Aflac.
  • I have an issue or concern about my current job assignment. What should I do?
  • What should I do if I am sick and unable to report to my job on time?
    • Please call your local TERRA office at least one hour before your scheduled start time to alert them that you are unable to make it to work. This allows TERRA time to find a replacement.
  • What should I do if I am injured on the job?
    • Always report on-the-job injuries to BOTH your work-site supervisor and your local TERRA office immediately. If the injury requires emergency attention, seek medical help immediately. Notify the health care facility that you were injured on-the-job and that TERRA is your employer. If the injury is not an emergency, call your local TERRA office and arrange for medical treatment.
  • My job assignment is ending soon, what should I do?

  • What should I do when I'm no longer on a job with you, but still looking for work?
    • Confirm your availability each week you are not on assignment. Upon completion of your assignment we expect you to contact your local TERRA office at least weekly to inform us of your availability and to check on current job opportunities.
  • My availability has changed and I am now looking for work again, what should I do?
    • You may simply call and notify us of your availability for work. At that time we will inform you of any additional information needed or steps required.
